How did you get started with modeling?

Modeling has always been a passion of mine, so once I graduated college, I decided to follow my dream and make a career out of it.  I love being on set and in front of a camera, it’s my happy place!

Where does your motivation come from?

In the industry I work in, there is never a lack of motivation.  Every set that I’m on, I’m surrounded by beautiful actors and models.  I’m not a hater though- if I see a gorgeous girl with a great body, it only motivates me to work harder.

What workout routine has worked best for you? 

My workout style is a mix of functional, circuit and high intensity interval training (HIIT).  The workout routine that produces the best results for me, includes a circuit involving high intensity (jumping jacks, burpees, mountain climbers, jump squats, prowler sprints, box jumps, etc.) and low intensity exercises (weighted lunges, dead lifts, abs, etc.)  Two to three days a week, I implement strength training into my routine, using dumbbells, cables or a weighted bar.  For shoulders, biceps, triceps, back, and lats, I do 3 sets of 12-15 reps.  I try to work my glutes as much as possible!  Some of my favorite exercises include: squats, weighted kick backs, kettlebell swings, circling fire hydrants, diamond leg lifts and stairs.

What is your diet like? 

A typical day:

Breakfast: Juice (kale, spinach, cucumbers, carrots, apple, celery, lemon, topped with chia seeds) or Oatmeal.

Lunch: Grilled Chicken salad (dressing on the side!)

Snack: Apple with peanut butter

Post Gym: Protein shake (1 scoop protein with water).

Dinner: Ground turkey sautéed with onion and garlic over lettuce

Snack: Protein shake (1 scoop protein with water).

What type of Music do you listen to when working out?

EDM!

What is your best advice to a woman trying to achieve a physique like yours?

Best advice to stay in shape:

Make a genuine effort to not eat anything that comes in a box (aka, processed food).  Allow yourself a few cheat meals a week.

Juicing is always a GREAT way to detox and jumpstart your body.

Try to workout everyday! Rest when your body needs it.

Wear cute outfits to the gym- not for the guys, for YOU!  There are usually tons of mirrors in the gym, and looking bad when you catch a glimpse of yourself will probably make you feel bad.  Look good, feel good!

Drink “SkinnyWater” (lemons, cucumbers and fresh mint)!
